Becoming the Archetype é uma banda cristã de death metal progressivo dos Estados

Unidos formada em 1999 (ver 1999 na música). O nome da banda foi

inspirado no versículo bíblico Genesis 1:26. No dia 29 de março de 2011,

a banda disponibilizou no myspace a música tema do álbum (The Magnetic

Sky) Celestial Completion, seu 4° álbum de estúdio produzido pela famosa

solid state records. O estilo do novo álbum mudou um pouco, com maior

velocidade com vocais leves e guitarras trabalhadas. O título Celestial

Completion é inspirado em uma música do álbum Burial (1998) da banda de

Technical Death Metal Extol. A ideia para o título partiu do vocalista

Jason Wisdom.
