Formada em 2005, Impending Doom é uma banda gospel norte americana de death metal.

Em janeiro de 2007 o grupo assinou com a Facedown Records, uma das gravadoras de som pesado gospel mais conhecidas atualmente. Seu álbum de estréia na gravadora, “Nailed. Dead. Risen.” rendeu a banda o lugar de número 46 na parada da Billboard e o álbum seguinte “The Serpent Servant” atingiu o número 3.



Nas letras a banda fala do fim dos tempos assim como sugere o nome, que na tradução literal quer dizer “Julgamento Iminente” ou “Condenação Iminente”. Sempre dou crédito pra bandas que falam abertamente da fé em Deus, e o Impending Doom é uma dessas!
